An Oklahoman through and through, Kevin joined the Regional Radio team in January of 2017. Kevin was born and raised in Oklahoma City and realized the power of journalism and community early on in life. Kevin knew his dream was to work in radio on May 3, 1999, when an F5 tornado devastated his town of Moore, OK. Kevin became fascinated listening to sports radio and the community that was associated, with people calling in and giving warnings and updates around the Oklahoma City metro. Since that day, Kevin has been on a journey to fulfill his destiny! (which is still to be determined).

Kevin is an honored University of Oklahoma alumnus, where he worked inside the athletic department for six years. During that span, he worked for both ESPN and FOX Sports in freelance capabilities as well as doing play-by-play for the very first college-produced live rowing webcast.

After leaving OU, Kevin decided to leave TV for the print industry, joining The Paris News in Paris, Texas as a sports writer. During his short span in the Lone Star State, Kevin got to cover the Dallas Cowboys and was awarded the North and East Texas Press Association 1st place Sports Writing award.

The Okie followed up his award-winning stint joining Regional Radio. He’s enjoyed the area and the people, although misses his Tex-Mex and southern BBQ. Kevin is proud to announce he’s closing in on his goal of losing 100 pounds, currently at 91. He says he can do it by Halloween, and expects his loyal listeners to hold him accountable.

Kevin is a movie buff, future SURVIVOR contestant, fantasy football addict, excellent rhymer and looking for friendly faces in this friendly place to become friends. He is also looking to hand out roses to the lovely ladies as the Parkland’s Bachelor. If you haven’t guessed, Kevin is shameless lover of reality TV.

You can reach Kevin in multiple ways, and by multiple he means by calling the station or on Twitter @KUESorLose.
